About Joy Dukes
Joy Dukes is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with nearly 30 years of registered nursing experience. Joy was born and raised in western Kentucky, completing her Associate degree in Nursing in 1994 at Hopkinsville Community College. Joy, along with her partner, Larry, moved to Las Vegas in 2017 where she went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2020 from Nevada State College. Joy then completed her Master’s Degree in Nursing in 2023 at Northern Kentucky University.
Joy started working with mental health clients in 2008 and quickly realized the urgent need for skilled and empathetic providers, Joy strives to be a provider who approaches mental health care from a place of compassion, dignity, and understanding for her clients. She will ensure that they receive the most up-to-date, evidence-based care for their mental health concerns. Joy also has one grown son, a lawyer, back in Kentucky. Her hobbies include reading, traveling, and spending time with her family and golden retriever, Kimba
